Can you tell us a little about you? I am a passionate photographer with a 10 year experience. I live in Bielsko-Biała, however I work all throughout Poland. How and when did you get into photography? I’ve always been interested in photography, but my journey with it began on the other side of the camera, as a photomodel. What does photography mean to you? It gives me the opportunity to express my feelings but also portray my own, unique way in which I perceive the world around me. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. Better no:) Just check my pictures! Where do you get inspiration from? I seek inspiration in day to day life, observing people and my surroundings, sometimes from popular artists, not only the ones from the same career path as me. Do you think in advance what you want in the picture? Not necessarily, it’s rather difficult to plan it beforehand, as you never know when you can get an incredible, lucky shot. I usually let my intuition take over and do what I think is right at the moment. Studio, on location or both? Anywhere is fine! It depends on what sort of photos do I or my client want. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? Photography is both my passion and my job. I’m very lucky to be able to earn a living from something that I genuinely enjoy and that gives me the feeling of self-fulfilment. I often start non-profit projects as well. What has been your most memorable session and why? It might be a bit unexpected, but my favourite session so far, has to be the one that I had in a hospital. It taught me a lot on a deeper lever, gave me an unforgettable experience, and the photos exceeded my expectation. The six months were most definitely worth it, and the exhibition was like a bow on top Nikon or Canon? Favourite lens? Nikon, 50, 85:) What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Read the camera instructions and start taking photos! Give yourself some time to find your own style and what kind of photos you enjoy. What do you think of our new magazine? It’s a great idea! Modellenland can really help inspire everyone, and teach something new.
