Can you tell us a little about you?
Architect, great enthusiast and practitioner of many sports, I live in Rome and I dedicate myself in addition to photography to the world of painting and 2d and 3d digital and computer art.
How and when did you get into photography? I approached photography from a very young age, I went to photograph the architecture and monuments of my beautiful Rome. I photographed a lot, everything that aroused interest and inspiration that very often I turned into paintings having done the Art School. Then I photographed mine friends and girlfriends who made me nice.
What does photography mean to you?
For me, photography is, as I always say, an extra brush on my large imaginary canvas. I like to create an emotion with the photo that brings the soul closer to painting.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
My style can be an exaltation of color in portraits set mostly outdoors. When I draw black and white I always try to do it in an intense and pictorial way.My photos range from portrait to fashion to nude art.
Where do you get inspiration from? My inspiration comes from everyday life that I analyze with a keen eye. My models are often girls with little experience and a great desire to appear in social life. I consider myself a talent seeker.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?
I generally create a virtual set divided into four sessions where inside, however, I am free to create with passion and improvisation which are two fundamental elements for all artistic works of any kind.
Studio, on location or both?
I think that a good photo can be born anywhere but my true passion is the outdoors. The road ... the nature ... the sea remain my favorite settings.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
I consider myself a professional with an amateur spirit or if you like more an amateur with the professionalism of a professional. If there are budgets it is better they certainly help to develop ideas and implement them.
What has been your most memorable session and why?
What I still have to photograph ... I'm always looking for my new creation.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
Nikon ... I don't have a favorite lens ... I really like 85mm. fixed.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
To put great passion in what he does, and even at an amateur level, you can always give an emotion with a photograph.
What do you think of our new magazine?
A beautiful initiative that leads to knowing the world of photography and all its artistic facets.
