Interview: Model Sarah Salomonsen (Denmark)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I am a mother of 2 children, they are my life. I have been modelling for 16 years and I love to meet new people. I love to travel, and I also love to see the world and to feel the sand in my hands, there is just something about the nature that is so hard to explain.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

If I could change anything about myself, it would be that I am very perfectionist

About myself. I always wish to do things so perfect that it is even hard for me to follow it.

How did you start modeling?

I started modeling when I was 15 years old, I remember I saw a really beautiful woman on a bus station picture, and I thought to myself to try it. Not that it would happen, but of course it was my dream that it would.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I think it’s amazing to work as a model, to have the gift to travel, to meet new people, to learn a lot from other people and to learn a lot about yourself. Because as a model you sometimes come in situations where you have to make some big decisions.

What is your beauty regimen?

My regimen is fashion, beauty and lingerie.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I am very good with my eyes on pictures, and I always like to make something different, of course I have a stop button, but I am a very open-minded person as a model. I love to tell a story, somehow through my pictures. When I work with a team, I will not stop until we all are satisfied. That is very important to me.

What are your plans for the future?

I have very big plans for the future, hehe.. But I want that to be a surprise!

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

My favorite experiences so far, would be to meet all these so different and amazing people all around the world. So professional people with a lot of powerful personality.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

My advice for those who would like to start modeling is, go for your dreams! Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t or that you are not good enough, always listen to yourself first, and then take criticism from others.

I love this magazine, I think it’s a very professional magazine, with a lot of beautiful pictures.
