Interview: Photographer Luca Cassara (Italy)
Can you tell us a little about you?
Omg...well...I’m 37 years old, from Sicily but since 13 years based in Milan. I’m a photographer but also a Graphic Designer.
How and when did you get into photography?
I started 10 years ago doing some landscapes photos for a website. It was love. This was the begin.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography is VOICE.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
What is style?Is what makes you visible between many photographers? I let the people says which is my style, i don’t know it J.
Where do you get inspiration from?
I get inspiration from the moment, from a song, a movie, a face, a light. Everything could inspire me
Studio, on location or both?
It depends by idea: i love location but sometimes i love studio and other times i love shooting outdoor.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
After 10years of experience and several publications around the world, photography is a passion but also a professional job.
What has been your most memorable session and why?
Every session is memorable: every model, every photoset, is a unique moment.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
Both brands are good. I love 50mm 1.4
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
Passion, Passion , Passion. Try, make errors, re-try. Passion and Experience is the perfect recipe J.
