Interview: Photographer Alan Zandonà (Italy)
Can you tell us a little about you?
Hi, I'm Alan and I'm a freelance photographer based in north Italy near Milan.
I'm also a member of “La Cosca” a portrait photographers team.
How and when did you get into photography?
I was six when I took my first film roll!
What does photography mean to you?
All! It's my life and my world!
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
I call myself a creative photographer, I always love to experience something new!
I love natural light, play with fairy lights and prism!
Where do you get inspiration from?
I try to take ispiration from the world!
Think you in advance what you want in the picture?
Actualy I like to improvise, I think it gives me a greater impulse at the creative level.
Studio, on location or both?
I prefer to shoot outdoors, in the streets of a city or in a paceful field. I find the studio terribly boring, but if I have to do job I do it anyway.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
I think it's important how others see me!
What has been your most memorable session and why?
I don't have a special session to remember, each one has a particular story...
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
Currently I shoot with reflex Canon. For me the equipment, that is aps or full-frame, does not matter. My favorite lens is 85mmt, but I'm crazy and I love to shoot portraits with 14mm also.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
Shoot, shoot, shoot!
What do you think of our new magazine?
You are doing a great job! Congratulations!
