Interview: Photographer Stephanos Georgiou (Cyprus)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I am a cypriot photographer. Currently i’m based in Paphos, Cyprus and i’m collaborating with models and model agencies. I’m a nature and music lover and i started my carrer before six years. I had the opportunity to collaborate with different agencies , magazines and models.

How and when did you get into photography?

My portrait photography journey started about six years ago. I always had a passion with photography, got my first pro camera before 8 years. I’m always excited with the digital cameras because you can see what you do and improve by editing your pictures.

What does photography mean to you?

Everything, I can’t live without it. I love pictures who will tell a story or helps to make a story in your head.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.

I deal with women’ portrait and fashion photography. I like to use compositions and emphasizing feelings and emotions.

Where do you get inspiration from?

I see inspirations everywhere. In people and surroundings. I try to see beauty where it is difficult to see – in the soul of the object.

Think you in advance what you want in the picture?

Always , i imagine whatthe result will look like.

Studio, on location or both?

Definetely i like ‘on location’ more. Actually i work just on location 90%.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?

Both! This is my dream job!
