Interview: Model Catarina Correia (Portugal)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I am Catarina, I am 21 years old and at the moment I am a traveling model. I am based in Lisbon but I spend a lot of time traveling for shootings.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would change my height. I'd like to be taller.

How did you start modeling?

I started modeling 4 years ago, or something like that. I started doing tfp photoshoots so I could have some portfolio and then I started doing it professionally.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I love it. But it's not an easy job. I love it because it's really my passion but I have to work hard.

What is your beauty regimen?

I always clean and hydrate my face very well. I wash, exfoliate and use hidrating products. I do face masks too. I use body lotion almost everyday too.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I don't know if that distinguish me from the others, but I am very determined. I prefer to do something and regret it after than don't do it and thinking how it could have been. Also, I am such a big dreamer.

What are your plans for the future?

For the near future I plan to leave Portugal and go to another country.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

Traveling. I was in Japan in 2016 and it was amazing. To see such a different culture and have that oportunity is awesome. My freedom, also. I like to travel alone, I can plan it myself and I am so grateful for that.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Be patient and hard working. Sometimes things don't happen right when you start.
